Henry M. Coblentz, 83, of 7869 Township Road 95, Fredericktown, Ohio died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home of congestive heart failure.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1934 in Stark County to Menno J. and Mary (Troyer) Coblentz and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
On Nov. 12, 1953 he was married to Martha (Yoder) Coblentz, who survives. Also surviving are three sons and six daughters, Alvin (Alma) Coblentz, of Ashland, Emanuel (Martha) Coblentz and Reuben (Anna) Coblentz, of Vinton, Judy (Joni) Gingerich, Mary (Lester) Troyer, and Bena (Raymond) Garber, of Fredericktown, Katie (Jonathan) Raber, of Greenwich, Rosie (Daniel) Hockstetler, of Edmeston, New York, and Ruth (Crist) Stutzman, of Blanchard, Michigan; 63 grandchildren; and 130 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Garber residence with Bishop Andy Miller officiating.
