BUCYRUS — Listed below are the Bucyrus Police calls for April 5, 6 and 7.
Wednesday, April 5
7:18 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 800 block of S East St.
7:21 a.m. A motorist was issued a warning in the area of Lucas and Rogers Streets.
7:48 a.m. Cody G Russell, 23, was cited for reckless operation after officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the Friendship Bridge parking lot. A tow truck responded to extract the vehicle.
9:32 a.m. A false alarm was received from the 1000 block of Martha Ave.
9:54 a.m. Officers assisted BFD in the 1500 block of N Sandusky Ave. at the Knights Inn for a fire call.
10:45 a.m. Officers responded to a domestic complaint of a subject unwelcome at a residence. Charles Lewis, 37, was arrested on a Richland County warrant in the 1100 block of Teddy Ave. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending transport to Richland County.
11:29 a.m. Officers made a funeral escort.
11:44 a.m. A private property collision report involving hit-skip of a parked car was taken in the 600 block of N Sandusky Ave.
12:24 p.m. Officers responded to an injury accident in the 1200 block of N Sandusky Ave. A north bound vehicle struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. A citation was issued and the vehicle’s occupants were transported for treatment of injuries and their vehicle was towed.
3:06 p.m. A theft report was taken in the area of Bucyrus Plaza.
3:25 p.m. A report of a crowd was investigated at Harmon Park and the subjects had dispersed.
4:22 p.m. Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the 1000 block of E. Mansfield St.
5:02 p.m. A traffic hazard was removed from the roadway in the 300 block of Plymouth St.
5:11 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of S. Walnut St.
5:15 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 500 block of E. Mansfield St., subjects known to the complainant reportedly visited at an apartment and left having pilfered meat.
5:26 p.m. A report of unsupervised juveniles was made in the 100 block of Stetzer Rd. The call was unfounded.
6:18 p.m. An abandoned bicycle found in the 200 block of E. Rensselaer St., a blue Huffy Stone Mountain bike, was brought to the Police Department.
6:19 p.m. A report of suspicious people in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Av. was investigated.
6:23 p.m. A disturbance by a store patron in the 100 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.
6:28 p.m. A vandalism report was taken in the 300 block of Woodlawn Ave.
6:53 p.m. Officers assisted with a civil stand by in the 200 block of Penn Ave.
7:01 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 500 block of S. Spring St. Malik Mills, 21, was arrested in the 500 block of S. Spring St. on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a court date to appear and released.
7:05 p.m. A traffic complaint of peeling tires was investigated in the area of Woodlawn and McKinley Ave.
7:07 p.m. A traffic complaint was investigated in the 900 block of Reid St. and the vehicle owner reported the parked vehicle was struck when it was on the Wal-Mart lot Wednesday.
7:49 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at Dairy Crest.
8:33 p.m. Officers investigated a hit-skip accident in the W. Warren St. area and the vehicle causing the minor non-injury crash was located on W. Mansfield St.
9:24 p.m. Officers investigated a hang up 9-1-1 call in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. and there was no emergency.
10:56 p.m. Tiffany Taylor, 36, was arrested for menacing. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for an appearance in court.
Thursday, April 6
12:39 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 1200 block of W. Southern Ave. and it was a false alarm.
3:12 a.m. A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Dr. reported hearing noises outside and it was very windy but otherwise quiet in the area.
5:28 a.m. A resident in the 900 block of Earl St. reported people yelling and throwing things.
5:52 a.m. An alarm in the 1000 block of Lavina Ave. was a false alarm.
8:17 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 500 block of S East St.
9:56 a.m. A report of tires being dumped in the area of Dean and Schaber Sts. was investigated.
11:26 a.m. A subject reported his vehicle vandalized while in the 600 block of N Sandusky Ave.
11:32 a.m. A report of kids loitering at Harmon Park was investigated. The kids were gone upon officer’s arrival.
1:04 p.m. Officers took an accident report at the intersection of Hopley and Washington St.
1:24 p.m. A report of a subject entering a vehicle in the 300 block of S Poplar St was investigated. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.
2:36 p.m. A resident at Bucyrus Plaza requested officers remove an unwanted person from her apartment.
3:46 p.m. Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 900 block of E. Warren Street.
3:49 p.m. Officers spoke with a subject on station experiencing mental issues.
3:58 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of Jump Street reported items stolen from her vehicle and her basement.
4:05 p.m. Charles Reese, 53, was arrested for Violating a Civil Protection Order. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
4:14 p.m. A report of loud music in the 500 block of Prospect Street was investigated.
4:26 p.m. Officers delivered a jail release notification to a resident in the 600 block of E. Warren Street.
5:25 p.m. A 9-1-1 hang up call was investigated in the 400 block of E. Warren Street.
6:24 p.m. A private property accident at the Bucyrus Secondary School was investigated.
7:36 p.m. A 9-1-1 open line was investigated in the 400 block of Myers Street.
10:03 p.m. Officers assisted the dog warden with a loose dog in the 700 block of Beverly Drive.
10:42 p.m. Officers responded to an injury accident in the area of S. Sandusky Ave. and E. Beal Ave.
Friday, Aug. 7
12:58 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Ave. and Warren St.
1:17 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St.
4:06 a.m. A report of a domestic issue at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated.
4:27 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of W. Charles St.
