ASHLAND — A 21-year-old Ashland man was taken the OhioHealth Mansfield after a one-vehicle accident Monday night on Ohio 603.
According to a press release from the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at about 8:46 p.m. Monday, a Ford Ranger driven by Henry Lee was southbound on Ohio 603 near Township Road 1453 in Milton Township. Lee droe off the right side of Ohio 603, struck a ditch and then a utility pole.
Lee was transported with major injuries to OhioHealth Mansfield. His passenger, 21-year-old Noah Graber of Ashland, sustained minor injuries. Neither occupant was wearing a safety belt.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the accident. The accident remains under investigation.
