MANSFIELD — A group of area pastors received kudos from the METRICH Enforcement Unit on Wednesday for assisting an investigation that led to the raid of a suspected prostitution ring.
Authorities said a search warrant was executed at approximately 2:10 p.m. Wednesday at 1504 W. Fourth St. in Mansfield after lengthy, ongoing investigation. The probe was in connection with suspected prostitution and sexual related activity at the Tuina Studio.
Detectives reported the seizure of potential evidence and noted further follow-up police work must be completed before the investigation concludes. A METRICH press release described Tuina Studio as a “massage parlor.”
“As of now, the Tuina Studio is closed for business and the business was issued an eviction order by the property manager,” said Lt. Joseph D. Petrycki, Commander of the METRICH Enforcement Unit. “A group of area pastors worked with law enforcement regarding the complaints at the business.”Â
Petrycki stated the METRICH Enforcement Unit and the Mansfield Office of the F.B.I. will be working together on this case to identify any connections with human trafficking.Â
Petrycki urged individuals with information regarding Tuina Studios to call METRICH at 419-755-9728 or the Crime Tip Hotline at 419-52-CRIME (419-522-7463).
Petrycki also thanked the Mansfield Office of the F.B.I. for its assistance with this investigation.
