Jo Irene Ramsey, 59, of Cleveland, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 6, 2017 in Regency Hospital West, Cleveland.
Jo was born Nov. 29, 1957 in Mt. Vernon and was the daughter of the late William Rockford and Deama Marie Workman Rose.
Jo grew up in Lakeville and was a member of the West Holmes High School class of 1975. She had lived in Cleveland for many years and enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, flower gardening, doting on her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Sherman Ramsey, whom she married Feb. 2, 1984; two daughters: Mistie (Chris Larson) Rowe, of Loudonville, and Janna (Martin) Turpel, of Ravenna; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers: David Rose, of Lakeville, and Pete (Kathy) Rose, of Holmesville; and two sisters: Rotha Breitenbucher, of Lakeville, and Sue Trice, of Hopedale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Shannon Ramsey on Aug. 3, 1994 and James Lee Rowe Jr., on Nov. 12, 2016; two sisters: Jewel Kay McKinney and Mary Rose; and one brother, William D. Rose.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10:30 a.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with burial immediately following in Nashville Cemetery.
