Sarah F. (Dowdy) Sweeney, 46, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017.
Sarah was born on April 6, 1970, in Ironton, Ohio, to Joyce (Dowdy) Queer. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Joyce and Lester Queer Jr.; seven siblings, Sherry Erwin, John Dowdy, Rebecca Sanborn, and Sam Queer, all of Mansfield, Margaret Holmes, of Cleveland, Roger Murrell, of Seattle, Washington, and Nathan Murrell, of Marion. Aunt Mary Pierson, Uncle John David Lewis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sarah was preceded in in death by her husband Robert Sweeney, her daughter Ashlee Joy Sweeney, and her grandmothers Vergie Lewis and Nellie Bocook.
Memorial services celebrating Sarah’s life will be held on Friday, Feb. 10 at Belmont Community Church, 119 Belmont Ave. Mansfield, Ohio. 44906, wiith Pastor Hank Webb officiating.
