SAVANNAH — District OH2 Governor Steve Cochie visited the Savannah Lions monthly meeting on Feb. 2 and awarded plaques to the Savannah Lion of the Year-Lion Jim Bernhard; and, Cub of the Year-Lion Linda Bailey.
Cochie reported on the various projects being conducted not only in District OH2 but also internationally, the number of individuals in the District who have been served by the various clubs and the amount of donations given for eye research.
District Governor Cochie also presented membership chevrons to the following club members: Lion Rod Estep for completing 15 years as a Lion, Lion Robin Baith, 25 years; Lion Ben Uselton, 20 years; and, Lion Doug Fitch for 15 years.
