A major road in Richland County, Ohio 96 at Ohio 13, is closed due to flooding, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The announcement was posted in a press release by ODOT at 3:54 p.m. Road closure was necessitated after significant rainfall drenched the region on Wednesday night.
A detour of Ohio 96 east to Ohio 39, Ohio 39 south to Ohio 13, north on Ohio 13 has been posted. There is no time estimate as to when the road will reopen.
