MANSFIELD — Mansfield police have confirmed locating Jennifer Goff of Shelby, who was reported missing by her mother on Dec. 9.

According to Capt. Shari Robertson, Goff, 26, was located at approximately 8:50 a.m. Wednesday morning at a residence on Glessner Avenue after police received a tip from someone who spotted the car she was reported to have been driving in that area.

Robertson said Mansfield detectives are currently talking to Goff in an attempt to ascertain her whereabouts over the last several days.

Robertson said Goff appears to be fine and doesn’t have any obvious injuries.

Goff’s family was notified that she has been located, Robertson said.

“I’m just glad she was found safe and sound and that her family can have some peace,” Robertson said.

According to Shelby dispatch, Goff is being charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
