FINDLAY — The Mansfield Christian boys soccer program is headed to the Final Four.
The Flames upended Archbold 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Findlay High School in the Division III regional championship game.
Coach Jesse Rider’s team scored a goal in each half to improve to 17-2-2 and is riding an eight-game winning streak.
Mansfield Christian is scheduled to play Kidron Central Christian. The undefeated Comets are 19-0-2 after beating Kirtland 2-0 in the regional title tilt Saturday at Wadsworth.
The Flames will meet Kidron in Wednesday’s 7 p.m. state semifinal at a site to be determined later.
These two teams met earlier this season with the Comets earning a 1-0 decision at Mansfield Christian on Sept. 20.
