Lois E. Rose, 80, of Crestline, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Lois was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on March 10, 1936 to the late Paul and Reba (Chasse) Glaspie. She married Donald E. Rose on Nov. 18, 1957 in Galion and he survives her.
Lois had worked at the former ITT North Electric and Peco in Galion. Lois and her husband Don were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline, where she was very active in the church. Lois was kind, loving, spirited and loved to travel.
She always had a rosary close by and loved spending precious moments with her grandchildren. Lois took great pride in making quilts, which she had done for all of her family. Lois was one of the initial members of the Crestline High School Football Mother’s Club.
She is survived by her husband Don, her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Joyce Rose, of Jacksonville, N.C., her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Charlie Schroeder, of Shelby, six grandchildren, Joshua Rose, Kyle Rose, Laine Runion, Brooke Schroeder, Aubrey Wolters and Roni Kanabel, seven great grandchildren, Charleigh Rose, Parker Rose, Easton Rose, Ashlynn Rose, Landon Runion, Finley Runion and Rohan Wolters.
At Lois’s request no funeral services will be held.
