Additional charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office after testing and analysis of the suspected cocaine, a statement from Metrich noted. METRICH Enforcement Unit conducted the search warrant with the help of the Mansfield Police Department and the Allied Special Operations Response Team (ASORT).

This search warrant was the result of a short term drug investigation that began after citizen complaints of suspected drug activity in the neighborhood, police said.

“The METRICH Enforcement Unit will continue to target other drug dealers within our community and encourages citizens to continue to be proactive by reporting suspected drug activity,” said Sgt. Steve Blust.
