ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery and Art Club have established “Art Saturdays,” an educational and creative experience for children of all ages.

“Art Saturdays” will be offering classes on Oct. 22 and Nov. 12.

The Oct. 22 event, titled “Monster Mash,” will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon for young artists ages 4- to 7-years-old at a cost of $5 per child. “Monster Mash” will have young artists exploring their drawing skills while creating an adorable mismatched monster.

The Nov. 12 event is titled “Leonardo Da Vinci Robots” and is for young artists ages 8 to 13 and will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at a cost of $10 per child. As part of “Leonardo Da Vinci Robots,” young artists will learn about Da Vinci’s famous notebooks, focusing upon his creative vision of futuristic robots.

Registration and art fee per child is required prior to each Art Saturdays activity. All supplies are included and class sizes are limited. Classes are located in Room 346 in the Center for the Arts on the Ashland University campus.
