ASHLAND – The public is encouraged to attend a special Veterans Walk of Honor and Service on Monday, Sept. 19, at the Ashland County Fair.
The Veterans Walk of Honor will take place at 10:45 a.m. from the Veterans Building to the Entertainment Pavilion. The public is invited to wear red, white and blue clothing and line the walkway to show appreciation for the veterans.
At the 11 a.m. Veterans Service in the pavilion, Vietnam veteran Greg Gorrell will present a visual presentation on his return trip with his sons to Vietnam. The service will last about one hour, after which veterans may enjoy a complimentary lunch as part of Ashland County Fair’s Veterans Day.
