Are you ready for some football? Richland Source is ready to bring its readers comprehensive coverage this fall.

Friday is here and football is in the air in Ohio.

The players will culminate weeks of practice tonight, but they’re not the only ones. The bands are ready, the cheerleaders are primed, and the fans are poised to support their favorite teams all across the state.

Richland Source is ready too, with an expansive coverage plan. We want to make this site your one-stop shop for the local prep football scene.

Scores on Friday night, photo galleries on Saturday morning. Those are the key elements most fans are looking for from their media outlet.

Sure, we plan to provide both of those things, but we’re going into even more detail.

In addition to Thursday night’s Madison-Shelby season opener, already posted at this site, we’ll have coverage of six more north central Ohio games tonight, including Mansfield Senior at Big Walnut, Lexington at Ontario, Northmor at Crestview, Bucyrus at Galion and Wadsworth at Ashland.

Our reporters will be tweeting from those game sites, and updating with scores throughout Friday night. Keep track of our scoreboard here, too. Beyond that, Curt Conrad and Noah Jones will continue our partnership with WMAN, offering their comments from their games with our friends on the radio.

We are also joining Fox Sports, iHeart Media, ESPN and a host of other publications in using Scorestream to bring you live scores. We and our partners at WMAN are going to be updating scores from around the area via the app but here’s where you come in. We need you to help us and to give us your thoughts and photos all season long.

If you download the app, you’ll be able to update the scores of your favorite team’s games while you attend. You can enter the score, wage in a fan cheer battle, and upload videos and photos from the bleachers. At Richland Source headquarters, we’ll be monitoring the big board and making sure its accurate and in real time.

Download the app via the Scorestream website.

As a bonus, fans in the stadium of our weekly featured game will be given a special Snapchat filter from Richland Source to cheer on their team. If you need help using it, simply ask the nearest teenager.

Saturday morning you’ll see game stories, photo galleries, and a couple of surprise videos, too.

So be sure to check out Richland Source to get your football fix all fall long.
