ONTARIO – Ontario Youth Sports has been chosen to host the 2016 KOHLS AMERICA CUP Aug. 13 and 14.

Ontario Youth Sports Director, Kenn Spencer, has been working with the OYS board and the city of Ontario to get soccer fields ready for this two-day event.

“We want the recreation athlete to feel excited and have fun! The Kohl’s Cup is a quality statewide tournament in a fun, family-like atmosphere. Our hope is to see a long standing relationship with Ontario and US Youth Soccer” said OYS Soccer Commissioner Rob Griefenstine.

Spencer says Ontario Marshall Park was an easy choice for the KOHLS CUP.

“Our youth sports facilities are amazing in Ontario. The city does a great job keeping the complex looking world class. Our 8 field soccer complex with indoor restrooms are ideal for this.”

This is a recreational only tournament no travel teams allowed.

Kohl’s American Cup Soccer players will experience a fully equipped sound system with speakers and microphone that will be used to play music, make announcements, and our awards ceremonies. Each athlete will receive souvenirs and have a chance to participate in several mini games and drills.
