ASHLAND — The Ashland Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Arie Lipsky, will perform 10 concerts in the upcoming season.

Six of those concerts are part of the subscription series: “Timeless Tchaikovsky”, Saturday, Oct. 1, 7:30 p.m., Robert M. and Janet L. Archer Auditorium, featuring Aaron Berofsky, violin; “Classically Romantic”, Saturday, Oct. 22, 7:30 p.m., Ashland Grace Brethren Church, featuring Tom Reed, clarinet; “Family Holiday Pops”, Sunday, Nov. 27, 7:30 p.m., Archer Auditorium, featuring Ashland High School A Cappella Choir and Shelby Chamber Choir; “My Favorite Things”, Saturday, Jan. 28, 7:30 p.m., Archer Auditorium, featuring vocalists Diane Penning and Paul Langford; “Romantic Resonance”, Saturday, March 4, 7:30 p.m., Hugo Young Theatre, featuring Amir Eldan, cello; and “Bravo Beethoven”, Saturday, April 29, 7:30 p.m., Archer Auditorium, featuring Ashland Area Chorus, Ashland University Choir, and Roman Rabinovich, piano.

Additional performances include “The ASO in Loudonville”, Sunday, Oct. 23, 2 p.m., Ohio Theatre, Loudonville, featuring Tom Reed, clarinet; “School Day Concert for 3rd Graders”, Friday, March 3, noon, Hugo Young Theatre; “Young People’s Concert”, Saturday, March 4, 4 p.m., Hugo Young Theatre; and “Pops in the Park”, Sunday, July 2, 8 p.m., Myers Memorial Band Shell.

Subscriptions are on sale now and past subscribers are encouraged to renew by July 31 to ensure preferred seating. Individual concert tickets will go on sale on Aug. 1 with the exception of “Family Holiday Pops” which will be available after Oct. 22. Tickets may be purchase at the ASO office in the Hugo Young Theatre building, 331 College Avenue. Tickets for “The ASO in Loudonville” can be purchased at the Ohio Theatre box office. “The Young People’s Concert” and “Pops in the Park” are free and no tickets are required. “The School Day Concert for 3rd Graders” is also free but educators must call the symphony office to reserve seats.

Subscriptions are $105 for adults, $95 for seniors 65 and over, $15 for children/students/college students with ID. Partial subscription packages are available. Individual concert tickets are $23 adult, $20 senior, $3 child/student; “Family Holiday Pops” tickets are $16 adult/senior and $3 child/student.
