LUCAS — Malabar Farm Foundation with the cooperation of Malabar Farm State Park will host a “Sunday Drive” Car Show on Sunday July 31, 2016 from noon to 4 p.m. at Malabar Farm State Park 4050 Bromfield Rd. Lucas, Ohio.

This “Hollywood Connection” event that will include stars and cars from movies and TV.

The event is reminiscent of days when folks would take a Sunday drive down Pleasant Valley and stop at the vegetable stand, restaurant, and go to the Big House to hear Louis Bromfield speak on caring for the land. Bring your cameras for pictures with impersonators Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe, Louis Bromfield, Groucho Marx, Kate Hepburn and other surprise guests.

Also appearing are the 1960’s “Batmobile,” “Shawshank Redemption” car, a DeLorean like “Back to the Future,” Herbie from the “Love Bug,” the Mystery Machine from “Scooby Doo,” the pink jeep from Elvis’s “Blue Hawaii,” and Bromfield’s newly restored Willy’s jeep.

There will also be music and door prizes. Folks with cars will register $10 for 70 dash plaques and 20 awards. Registration begins at 10 am. The regularly scheduled House and Wagon tours will also be offered for your enjoyment.
