Anna J. Butts, 87, formerly of Mansfield, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Born Jan. 1, 1929 in Loxley, Alabama, she was the daughter of Walter James and Chrystal Leona (Sees) Wade.
A longtime real estate agent for Brown Realty, she was a former member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, the Amvets Post 26 and the Republicans Club. She was also the President of the Buckeye Hobby Club for many years.
She is survived by her son, Michael Edward (Trish) Whitlatch, of Tennessee; one daughter-in-law, Karen Whitlatch; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, her twin, Jack Robert Wade, and Max Edward Wade; and three sisters, Lenora Tucker, Phyllis Marie Guilott and Sharon Hope Blassingame.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Butts; a son, James Robert Whitlatch; and two siblings, James William Wade and Louise Burrage.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 in Mansfield Memorial Park.
