MANSFIELD, Ohio – The cold and snow will continue into tomorrow.
Driving conditions will be hazardous on Tuesday morning after a low pressure system moves across the Central Lakes, dragging another cold front across the forecast area.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a winter weather advisory for snow and blowing snow, starting at 3 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 12. Richland, Crawford, Ashland and Knox Counties will be affected.
Snow is expected to develop overnight, with one to two inches of snow expected by daybreak. Some of the heaviest snow is expected to occur during the morning commute.
Winds are expected from the west at 15 to 25 MPH with gusts as high as 30 MPH.
Snow combined with winds of 20 to 30 MPH will produce blowing snow, which will reduce visibilities and create hazardous driving conditions.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland also issued a hazardous weather outlook for Richland, Crawford, Ashland and Knox Counties starting on Monday, Jan. 11.
Monday night, wind chill readings will be near 10 degrees below zero, continuing into Tuesday morning. Wind chill readings are also expected to be near 10 below on Wednesday, Jan. 13.
