GALION, Ohio — The annual Buckeye tradition continues and registration has begun for the Avita/United Way of Crawford County tailgate party in Galion, the morning of the Ohio State-Michigan game.

The United Way of Crawford County will sponsor the fundraiser around this year’s football game on Saturday, Nov. 28 beginning at 9 a.m.

This year’s event will be hosted at the Avita Health System – Galion parking lot.

• Parking spaces may be purchased, for tailgate sites, in the hospital’s lower parking lot for $50 each.

• Bring your own snacks, beverages and lawn chairs

• Electrical hook-ups will be available for your portable TVs or heaters; you may want to bring an outdoor extension cord with you.

• Inside a large tent, we will have two big screen TV’s for viewing the game.

• Davy Jones from WQEL will also be on site for the festivities.

In addition, we will be holding a live auction and 50/50 drawing. Various items will be available to purchase for a great cause.

When you give to United Way you are helping to fund many different programs, though 23 different agencies. United Way is the best way to help the most people and build a stronger future in Crawford County. Thank you for your generous support.
