MANSFIELD, Ohio – The 3rd Annual Madison Swim Team 5K Run/Walk & Kids’ Fun Run Presented by Blevins Fabrication Corporation will take place on Sunday, Oct. 4 at Madison Comprehensive High School. The Kids’ Fun Run will start at 11:30 am and the 5K Run/Walk will start at noon.
Registration fees for the Kids’ Fun Run is $15 and the cost for the 5K Run/Walk is $20. Everyone that signs up for the Fun Run or the 5K will receive a $5 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings.
The Kids’ Fun Run is for ages 12 and under. Kids will run two laps around the quarter-mile track and will receive a medal upon finishing the run. The 5K Run/Walk will take place throughout a 3.1-mile course in the area of Madison High School. The course is flat.
While everyone that registered before Sept. 23 was guaranteed a t-shirt with registration, additional t-shirts are also available for purchase at a cost of $10. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Madison High School Swim Team.
