MANSFIELD, Ohio – Tenth Avenue North, a contemporary Christian music group, will perform at Mansfield Christian School (MCS) on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
Tickets, which are available now, cost $15 for general admission and $25 for “gold circle” admission, which gives attendees backstage access to meet with the performers. Tickets may be purchased via the MCS website.
Doug Taylor, member of MCS’s public relations committee and former MCS athletic director, said the concert promises to be a great event for the whole community to enjoy. “We’re thrilled to have them here. This should be our biggest concert ever,” he said.
MCS, located at 500 Logan Road, hosts a fall concert each year, Taylor said. Last year, the school presented a performance by Christian singer/songwriter Francesca Battistelli.
Tenth Avenue North is made up of lead singer and acoustic guitarist Mike Donehey, drummer Jason Jamison, electric guitarist Jeff Owen, bassist Ruben Juarez and keyboardist Brendon Shirley.
Their fourth and latest album, “Cathedrals,” features fan favorites, “No Man Is an Island” and “Stars in the Night.”
They’ve won Dove Awards and toured with groups like MercyMe, David Crowder Band and Casting Crowns.
