The Mansfield Division of Police Major Crimes Unit made an arrest in connection with the Myron Webb homicide.
Officers were called to 222 E. Second St. at 1:36 a.m. on June 26, 2015 for an Aggravated Burglary / Robbery and Felonious Assault. When police arrived they found Myron Webb with severe injuries. He was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment where he later died from his injuries.
Through evidence processing and investigative leads, Marcellus T. Luckie, 42, was identified and linked to Webb’s murder. A detective contacted Luckie at the Richland County Jail where he is currently incarcerated on a “having weapons while under disability” charge. The detective served Luckie with an Aggravated Murder warrant.
“We would like to thank the community for their help on identifying this suspect. This was a terrible loss of life to one of our citizens in the Mansfield community,” stated Lt. Robert Skropits.
