MANSFIELD, OH – The Lexington Blueberry Festival of Ohio and the Mansfield Area YMCA will bring an all-new “Glow Run” to the community this year. The Glow Run Event will be held on Thursday, Aug 13 at 8:30 p.m.
This is a 1-mile fun run for all ages. Registration for this event includes two glow-in-the-dark necklaces as well has a Glow T-shirt for those who register by Aug. 1.
The traditional 5k will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 9 a.m. The 5k is chip timed and anyone ages 12 and up can participate. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners as well as top finishers of each age group.
Registration for both events is available at www.ohioraceday.com or via paper registration. The Glow run is $15 online for early registration or $20 for online regular registration. Likewise, early registration for the 5k is $20 and can take place online or through paper registration or $25 for regular registration.
The YMCA is offering a “Take Two” deal that includes a discounted rate if runners decide to register for both runs. Early online registration is $30 and regular registration is $40. Early registration is going on now through Aug. 1 and all early registrants will be guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt.
