MANSFIELD, Ohio — Mayor Tim Theaker announced that beginning Tuesday, July 21, Smith Paving and Excavating, the contractor for the Municipal Building Upper Plaza Concrete Replacement Project, will begin work replacing the concrete plaza located at the Diamond Street entrance to the building. Public access to the courtyard and Diamond Street entrance will not be available during the construction.
Barricades will be in place at the street and sidewalk during the time that the entrance is closed. Public access to the building will remain available through the two entrances on the east side of the building. The Park Avenue entrance to the Municipal Courts is not affected by this project and will remain open.
The project is expected to be completed within 30 days.
