MANSFIELD, Ohio–The Mansfield Division of Police Major Crimes Unit is actively searching for the suspect(s) in the Aggravated Murder of Myron Webb of Mansfield.

Officers were called to 222 E. First St. at 1:36 a.m. on June 26, for an Aggravated Burglary and Felonious Assault. When police arrived they found Myron Webb with severe injuries.

He was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment where he was reported to have numerous stab wounds and was receiving treatment.

Assistant County Coroner Bob Ball stated that Webb was pronounced dead at 3:53 a.m. on June 27. A cause of death will be determined and reported in the autopsy.

“We are asking for the help of the community on identifying the suspect(s) in this terrible loss of life of one of our citizens in the Mansfield community” stated Lt. Robert Skropits.
