Carolyn I. Pool Davis, 86, of Crestline, died Monday, April 20, 2015 at Signature Health Care of Galion, after a short illness. 

Carolyn was born in Upper Sandusky on February 2, 1929 to the late Bert and Johnella F. (Riley) Ekleberry. She married Carl E. Davis, Jr. on June 9, 1997 and he survives her.

Carolyn enjoyed traveling, attending the fair in Upper Sandusky, antique shows and driving to Amish Country. She attended Freewill Baptist Church in Bucyrus. She was a member of the Indian Mill Antique Association in Upper Sandusky. Carolyn loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her second husband, she is survived by her two sons; Duane (Connie) Pool, Sandusky, Glen Pool, Palm Harbor, FL, her daughter, Melinda Krider, Crestline, four grandchildren, Nathan Pool, Joel Pool, Adriane DeFore, and Jacinda Krider, seven great-grandchildren, Maddie, Benjamin, Katelyn, Leonardo, Giulianna, Lilyan, and Phoenix, her brother, Donald (Evelyn) Ekleberry, Galion, nieces, Terrie Ekleberry, Jill (Todd) Lusk, many close friends, and close family friend, Gerun Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee Pool and her first husband, Wayne Pool.

Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with Rev. Lewis Copley and Rev. Jerry Copley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Freewill Baptist Church, Bucyrus in care of the funeral home.
