Rondala Marshall Broaden, 49, of Mansfield, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield.
She was born July 7, 1965 in Columbus and was the daughter of Earnest Neal Petty and Catherine Sue Broaden. Rondala ran track in high school and went on to work as a nurse aid until 2001. She was a dedicated mother and she always tried to put a smile on everyone’s face, whether through a silly voicemail or a cute text message. She loved to dance, espeically her watusi dance, and she was a great cook. Rondala was a loving mother and sister with a big heart, and left too soon, and she was loved dearly by her family and will be truly missed.
Surviving are her son, Jaquan L. Mosley and his father, George Mosley and siblings, Robin Arrington, Robert Arrington, Rachael Arrington, Ryan Arrington, and Erica Wilson. She is also survived by her father, Robert Arrington, Jr. who met her mother Catherine in 1967 and married in 1968 at which time a new family began; uncles, Stanley Nesbitt, Joseph Nesbitt, Michael Morris, Charles Nesbitt, and Donnie Wright; aunt, Elsea Nettles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rondala was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine; father, Earnest; grandmothers, Lula May Morris and Rosa Petty; and uncle, Jerry Nesbitt.
Family and friends are invite to visit on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6-8 p.m at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Dr. Derek J. Williams. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the Arrington family.
