SHELBY, Ohio – The Ohio Attorney General’s Office issued a Missing Persons bulletin for Cierra Vermaaten on Wednesday.

According to the report, Vermaaten is an ‘endangered runaway’ and was last seen in Shelby, Ohio on Nov. 18, 2014. There is no clothing description available at this time. She may be in the area of the City of Delaware or in Morrow County.

According to the Missing Persons bulletin, Vermaaten is a 16-year-old white female. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Major Joe Masi of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office said ongoing efforts to locate her are underway. He said investigators believe she is in the area somewhere.

“If someone sees her, we ask them to please contact us so we can get this resolved,” said Masi.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Cierra Vermaaten was located in Delaware, Ohio, around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. The Sheriff’s Office reports Vermaaten was arrested on a warrant out of Richland County Juvenile Court. She was transported to Richland County, appeared in court, and released to the custody of her grandparents who live in Delaware.
