This year will be a little brighter at one of our community non-profits. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, Richland Bank President John Brown presented Terry Conard, Director of The Friendly House, a check for $1,000 on behalf of Richland Bank’s customers.

“Once again, Richland Bank employees have decided to show their gratitude to our wonderful clients by this donation instead of gift baskets,” said Brown. “Our community’s non-profit organizations are doing impactful work and we hope everyone will share in our joy of making a difference in our community.”

“This money will help us in so many ways this holiday season,” said Conard. “We have several families who are struggling who we would like to adopt and provide gifts. Plus, we have kids during the holiday break who are here from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. We will be able to get additional games and items for the gym during this time. We are so grateful to the Richland Bank customers who make this possible. Thank you so much!”

This is the fourth year that Richland Bank has chosen to donate to community non-profits on behalf of its customers. Past recipients were The United Way of Richland County, The Salvation Army in Mansfield, The New Store and Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
