The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued its weekly construction update.
County
State Route 61/State Route 309
SR 61/SR 309 (Portland Way South) from Harding Way to Grove Avenue in the City of Galion is under construction as part of the rehabilitation and widening project. One lane of traffic is maintained in each direction. Depending on the weather, the project is expected to be complete in December 2014.
State Route 598, just north of State Route 19 in the City of Galion, remains closed for a bridge replacement. The bridge is expected to reopen in the evening on November 14, 2014.
Richland County
Five Points Road
Five Points Road (County Road 259), between State Route 13 and Brubaker Creek Road, is closed for a bridge replacement project. Detour will be posted. The road is expected to reopen November 21, 2014.
