The Downtown Mansfield Halloween Parade and Downtown Mansfield Trick or Treat, originally scheduled for today, have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 29 beginning at 5 p.m.
Mayor Tim Theaker expressed concern regarding today’s weather forecast and for the welfare of participating children. “We have to keep in mind the safety of our children,” said Theaker.
Trick or Treat, in just downtown Mansfield, will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Maps listing participating businesses will be available during the event.
The parade will now start Wednesday, stepping off at 6:30 p.m. from N. Main Street at Fifth Street and then proceed south on N. Main Street to Park Avenue West. The parade will turn right onto Park Avenue West and continue to Walnut Street. It will then turn right onto N. Walnut Street where it will disband.
