Shelby FOP Lodge #180 is proud to endorse Richland County Common Pleas Court Judge Brent Robinson for Richland County Common Pleas Court Judge in the Nov. 4 General Election.
As a fraternal organization comprised of law enforcement professionals, we fully endorse Judge Robinson in his effort to retain his position on the bench. Judge Robinson has a long legal career in Richland County. We know him as a fellow law enforcement officer, working with him for several years in the Prosecutor’s Office. Many of those years Judge Robinson served as the First Assistant Prosecutor, supervising many serious and high profile criminal cases.
We hold Judge Robinson in the highest regard, not because of his previous position, but because our membership has had a long working relationship built on mutual respect and trust. In the prosecutor’s office, Judge Robinson was known as a no-nonsense lawyer, who demanded honesty, fairness, and evidentiary integrity.
Judge Robinson was extraordinarily successful as a prosecutor because of these principles. We have already witnessed, and have no doubt that Judge Robinson will continue to fairly apply these principles to the citizens of Richland County, be they defendants, victims, witnesses, officers, prosecutors or defense lawyers.
Judge Robinson is committed to many of the successful programs employed by Judge Henson, and is committed to seeking truth and justice and to making Richland County a safer and better place to live and work.
For these reasons, we endorse Judge Robinson, and hope that you will join us in voting for the best candidate for the Richland County Court of Common Pleas, Brent Robinson.
