The Richland County Sheriff’s Office took a report at Madison Eastview Elementary School at 1262 Eastview Dr., Mansfield on Monday, Aug. 25 at 1:40 p.m. regarding the suspected theft of $10,000 from the school’s Parents Club. The report was filed by a school employee. The club’s treasurer was cited as a suspect and suspected of making unauthorized transactions from the account.
The report indicates that the suspect denied the allegations. The complaint is under investigation.
