The Galion Country Club will host the Bob Stimpert Memorial Golf Tournament on August 15.
The tournament will raise funds for the Robert “Bob” Stimpert Regional Manufacturing Coalition (RMC) Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship honors the memory of Stimpert, who passed away in October of 2012. Stimpert served as the Director of RMC. He also worked for Ashland University as an Entrepreneur Program Mentor and at the Small Business and Development Center, Braintree, and Score.
The scholarship is awarded through the North Central State College Endowment.
The registration deadline for the tournament is July 19. Prices are as follows: Team and Tee Sponsorship – $375; a team of four golfers – $300; individual golfer – $80; Tee sponsorship only – $100.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with shotgun start at 9 a.m. on August 15 at Galion Country Club, with lunch to follow.
