The Richland County Board of Elections met Tuesday, March 4 for its reorganization meeting as required by ORC 3501.09.
Paulette Hankins was selected as the director of the board. Bill Freytag was appointed deputy director. Michael Casto was selected as the chairman of the Board of Elections. Hankins and Freytag received the oath of office from Casto.
The staff of the Board of Elections was appointed for a new term, including Debbie Obenour, Elections Specialist V, Andrew Brinley and Carrie Hill, Election Specialists II, and Diana Naumoff, Elections Specialist I. Each staff member also took the oath of office as administered by Chairman Casto.
