The Richland Academy of the Arts held its 14th Annual Cabaret and Auction on Saturday at the academy on N. Walnut Street. The evening including food provided by China Club and What’s 4 Dessert, arts for sale, a variety of auction items, and performances by the rade Dancers, Strut Your Stuff Dancers, RASE Rocks, and the Blue’s Brothers.

The emcees for the evening were academy Board of Trustees President Eric Snyder and Ed Gutchall of Ed’s DJ Service. Herschel Thomas and Jim Angeloff served as auctioneers. Thomas received a special award from Pat Olson: a plaque to the “Richland Academy Auctioneer with Heart.” Olson thanked him for 14 years of service.

The auction included items like two VIP Mid-Ohio Sports course passes, four passes for skiing or snowboarding at Snow Trails, 12 months of Two Cousins Pizza and many more items from area businesses. All proceeds contributed to academy scholarships.

Event guests enjoyed the entertainment and the academy thanked all of the sponsors including Mid Western Auto Group of Dublin, WOB Accountants and Advisors, Hamilton Insurance, MG Energy Group, and Alumni Roofing.
