Richland, Crawford and Knox counties were under a Level 1 Snow Emergency. But as of 4 p.m., Sunday, the Level 1 was lifted from Richland County. The winter storm had moved on and only light snow was showing on the radar south of Columbus.

The first day of March was more like a lamb than a lion and the anticipated snow didn’t start falling until early Sunday morning. AT 9:30 a.m. roads and streets in Mansfield were snow covered and slippery.
As the winter storm continues to move across the region today, snow will continue to move into the area as a wave of low pressure moves through the lower Ohio valley. Snow will diminish from the north late this afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service Sunday morning a winter weather advisory remains in effect until 10 p.m. but appears to have passed without the full accumulations of snowfall of 3 to 5 inches today for a storm total of 4 to 7 inches. The temperature will range from 15 to 20 degrees.
