Weather related school and church delays:

Shelby City Schools band concert for Sunday, March 2 is cancelled.

St. Peter’s Sunday Open House has been postponed.

The first day of March was more like a lamb than a lion and the anticipated snow didn’t start falling until early Sunday morning. AT 9:30 a.m. roads and streets in Mansfield were snow covered and slippery.

As the winter storm continues to move across the region today, snow will continue to move into the area as a wave of low pressure moves through the lower Ohio valley. Snow will diminish from the north late this afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service Sunday morning a winter weather advisory remains in effect until 10 p.m. but appears to have passed without the full accumulations of snowfall of 3 to 5 inches today for a storm total of 4 to 7 inches. The temperature will range from 15 to 20 degrees.
