The OhioMeansJobs Centers in Richland and Crawford Counties is offering employees impacted by the closing of the Voisard Manufacturing plants in Shelby and Shiloh to an Information/Job Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Richland County Longview Center located at 1495 West Longview Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44906.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with a brief information session for the dislocated works. Local OhioMeansJobs Center staff and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Rapid Response staff will answer questions and provide information about Unemployment Compensation, available community resources and short-term training opportunities. Additionally, staff will provide assistance with resume writing on-site.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., representatives from local companies seeking experienced workers will be on hand to take applications and conduct screening interviews.
