Defending OCC champion West Holmes Lady Knights came to Clever Lane Thursday night. Playing on the road proved no obstacle to the unbeaten Lady Knights, as the pummeled Lexington 56-16.
The Lady Knights cruised to a 29-11 lead at half and held that pace to finish 56-16.
West Holmes converted 30 Lexington turnovers into 27 points. Lexington converted 9 turnovers into 10 points.
Lexington stayed close in total rebounds pulling down 24 to West Holmes’ 28.
Paiten Strother and Hannah Clark paced West Holmes by both posting 11 point performances.
For Lady Lex, Kelly Rhodes led with 6 points and 6 rebounds.
In the JV contest, West Holmes scored 64 to Lexington’s 13.
