Thursday nights regional matchup at Ontario was a battle of volleyball powerhouses. Just a few miles from their home turf, third-ranked Madison Lady Rams came into the contest with a hard-fought win over the Norwalk Truckers. However, top-ranked Padua, as they have been for teams all season, was just too much to handle.
In the three matches, Padua took control and put the match away in three sets scoring 25-15, 25-14 and 25-18 over the Lady Rams.
For the Rams, Kamilla Brown had 4 kills and 1 ace. Mekaila Grose turned in 4 kills.
Katie Wagner added 14 assists. Chase Carper scooped 15 digs. Liz Sutter contributed 3 digs and 1 ace and Maggie Andrews had 5 digs and 1 ace.
Coach Brian Votaw’s squad finished 24-3 on the season.
