This weekend should be a nice weekend to enjoy fall weather in Richland County and the Mid Ohio Bikers bicycle club is hosting their 35th annual Fall-N-Leaf Bicycle Tour on Sunday, Oct. 13. Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the Bellville Comfort Inn at the Rt. 97 and I-71 interchange. Three different ride lengths are available: 39, 50 and 71 rolling to hilly miles.
The Mid Ohio Bikers club uses the event money to donate to the Toy Time foundation in Richland County and they have also adopted at least two families from the local area at Christmas time to buy the children gifts for Christmas. Money also goes toward the utility bills for the adopted family/s to help with expenses during the holiday season.

The Mid Ohio Bike Club is comprised of riders of all ages and riding levels. Most of the members are touring riders but we a few members who enjoy bike trail riding, mountain biking and road racing. They have a weekly ride schedule, many impromptu rides, activities and monthly meetings every third Tuesday. Many of the members participate in TOSRV, Horsey Hundred (Kentucky), GOBA, and Hilly Hundred along with supporting rides sponsored by other area clubs.
