It seems Butler is soon to be under attack, “Rap Attack” that is. Mark your calendars for fun for all ages on October 19. The Clear Fork Resort Mud Run will feature “Rap Attack.” Known as the loudest monster truck on the circuit and driven by Dave Rappach, the 1400 horsepower, transmission turbo 400 engine monster truck is sure to sling some mud into the crowd.

The gates open at 11 a.m., and registration for events such as the Hill in a Hole is from noon to 2 p.m. and a driver meeting scheduled for 2:15 p.m. The Hill in a Hole event starts at 3 p.m. and the featured guest, “Rap Attack “ revs his engine for a 4 p.m. freestyle show.

Director of Events Coordinator Annie Weirich hopes to attract more people, including families with the bigger, better, muddier event. Special features designed to create a more exciting show is the improved Honey Hole, a bigger, deeper bounty hole with a $500 purse to the one who can escape the mud filled pit.

“We want families to spend the day together, and see what we [Clear Fork Resort] are all about,” said Weirich.

There is a $10 entry fee at the gate and an additional $10 pit entry fee for those looking to get in on the muddy action.

Weirich added that ATV riding is available until the end of October and new winter activities include a Halloween Party, October 26, and the all new Northern Lights Tubing Park is scheduled for a grand opening event December 20 with hot chocolate and bon fire included.
