The Mansfield Christian (MCS) Flames just keep on winning. Last Saturday, the team hosted Mt. Vernon
All scoring would go through Josh Cochran, who put two goals on the board and added an assist. On the other end of the assist, Brendan Ernsberger popped a third goal past the Mt Vernon keeper to round out the finally tally.
MCS’s keeper Caleb Young denied shots to tally 3 saves. Kyle Dunnavant and Jesse Rider each turned away one.
While the Flames winning ways have already clinched the Mid-Buckeye Conference, they face a big test on Thursday. The Ashland Arrows come to 500 Logan Road to battle it out on the pitch at 7 p.m.
