The Business Management and Accounting programs at North Central State College recently earned reaccreditation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for the maximum 10 years.  Accreditation was first earned in 1993 for the programs.  ACBSP’s mission is to promote continuous improvement and recognize excellence in the accreditation of business education programs around the world.  ACBSP is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas.

A strong component of earning the reaccreditation was the Business program’s use of the Major Fields Exam administered by Education Testing Services (ETS), the same institution that administers the SAT exam. The test is utilized by 55 community colleges across the United States to benchmark the knowledge of students in accounting, economics, management and marketing. NCSC graduates scores were in the top 15% of students nationwide.
