As part of the 20 Year Reunion of the filming of the blockbuster movie “The Shawshank Redemption,” the Renaissance Theatre is showing the highly-acclaimed film on the Renaissance big screen. The showing will take place on Friday, August 30 at 7 p.m. “The Shawshank Redemption” premiered at The Renaissance on Tuesday, September 13, 1994.
Bob Gunton, who portrayed The Warden in the film, will sign memorabilia in the lobby following the movie showing. Shawshank t-shirts ($20) and small posters ($1) will be on sale throughout the evening. Both are great for capturing Bob Gunton’s autograph!
The general admission tickets are $10 and are available at the Renaissance Box Office, Tuesday through Friday, from noon to 5 p.m., by calling 419-522-2726 and online all the time at MansfieldTickets.com. They may also be purchased at the door beginning at 5pm.
