The Mansfield Rotary Club presented the 2013-2024 Walter Willis Scholarship to Abby Lynn Schoonyan of Bellville. Abby is a three year Rotary scholarship reciepent and a junior at Lake Superior State University in Sault St. Marie, Michigan where she is a Dean’s List Scholar studying Fisheries and Wildlife Management.
The scholarship was established by The Mansfield Rotary Club to honor Walter Willis, the 50 year secretary of the club. The award is made for studies in Economics, Forestry, Nature Studies, or rehabilitation (human services).
The scholarship fund is administered by the Richland County Foundation.
