In conjunction with the Richland Community Development Group, Downtown Mansfield, Inc. is offering the “Secret City Tour: North Main Street Edition this Friday. Photographers and historians may be especially interested experience the wealth of visual and historical elements the sites have to offer.
The self-guided tour of prominent, historic downtown buildings includes a self-guided tour of eight buildings. The tour will cover the second and third floor of the City News Building, Creamers Building, Eagles Building, second floor of City Grille, City Mills, first floor of the Bissman Building, Cleveland Financial Building and the Richland County Transit Building.
Tickets are $10 per person are available for presale online at www.secretcitytour.eventbrite.com or on the event day at The Brickyard, 21 East Temple Court, in the historic Carrousel District.
Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and shoes, spaces are safe and free of debris, but require walking, climbing stairs and are currently undeveloped. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the spaces.
