Ontario Liberty 5K
Dust off those running shoes and get ready for the Ontario Liberty 5K. This event will be held Thursday, July 4 at 8:30 am. It is sponsored by Ontario’s Cross Country team, the Ontario Fourth of July Festival Committee, and Brian and Michelle Gates State Farm Insurance.
Race-day registration begins at 7:45 am in front of the Ontario High School at 447 Shelby-Ontario Road. If you want to save some cash and better your chances of receiving a race tee shirt, pre-register by June 30—the cost is $15. Race-day registration costs $20. The proceeds of the 5K go toward the Ontario Cross Country fund.

Whippet 5K Run
Come one, come all to the Shelby Whippet 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run. Both races will be held Saturday, July 6. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 8:15 am and the 5K will follow at 8:30 am.
Registration occurs from 7:30 am – 8:15 am at the Central Elementary gym. The fee is $15. The pre-registration deadline is July 5 and the cost is $13.
Tee shirts are awarded to the first 175 entries.
